I. Market Insight | Addressing the Real Demands of the South Asian Baking Industry

Throughout the three-day exhibition, the Homtree booth maintained high traffic with a steady stream of visiting merchants. Our team received groups of visiting clients continuously, discussing production pain points face-to-face, explaining ingredient performance, and demonstrating finished product application effects to deeply explore the real demands of Bangladesh’s local baking market.

In terms of on-site reception, the quality of visiting clients stood out remarkably. The visitor base was mainly composed of food factory directors and business owners, alongside a large number of retail bakery shop operators. Most visitors held direct decision-making power for procurement and new product development with clear intentions. The highly targeted client groups enabled effective direct connections with local Bangladeshi producers and laid a solid foundation for subsequent business implementation.

The on-site tasting session generated an enthusiastic response. Baked goods including pound cakes, plain cakes and muffins were very well received. Featuring fine texture and prominent sweetness, these products perfectly matched local consumer tastes. Many merchants stopped for sampling and engaged in in-depth discussions regarding product crumb structure and flavour performance, which directly verified the adaptability of Homtree’s ingredient solutions for the Bangladeshi market.
